Time Magazine graces us with 100 influential people of 2020!

Megan The Stallion, The Weeknd, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, and Black Lives Matter founders —Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi — were among the small group of honorees that has been featured on the covers for the special issue of Time Magazine.

Actor Taraji P. Henson praises rapper, Megan The Stallion. “Megan rode the beat like I’d never heard anybody ride the beat in a long time—and I’m a hip-hop head. There was something about this woman. Once you discover her, you become a fan,” she stated. We can all agree, since Megan’s career has started she has been on fire! Including her songs, as well as features with other big names!

“It wasn’t on a national level yet. It was just something that people were saying in our circles. To know that Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi were out there organizing this movement—I felt supported and encouraged,” Sybrina Fulton, who is the mother of the late Trayvon Martin stated about the Black Lives Matter founders. She paid tribute to the three women by speaking on how she first of them after her sons death. “There are only three of them, but they are everywhere. They are getting people to think.” She also says.

Tarana Burke states about Gabrielle Union-Wade, “She is internationally directing her attention, influence and resources to advance an agenda that deliberately celebrates the most marginalized amongs us.” John Legend spoke about Athlete Dwyane Wade, “He sees that he has a larger purpose, and that his athletic career put him in a position to make the world a better, safer and more loving place!”

Every year Time Magazine honors the many leaders, artists, speakers. Honoring the work they have done, and the difference they have made through others lives as well!
