Euphoria will begin filming early of 2021 and will air in 2022.

HBO has confirmed the hit show Euphoria will not begin filming for season 2 until early next year, in 2021. The show that stars actress Zendaya, has stopped all production due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Don’t be alarmed! While the cast of the show will be filming, there will have be a “special” COVID episode in between seasons for fans!

Actress Zendaya has recently won an Emmy for her character Rue, on the popular show! The show was delayed filming and was scheduled to start this month in September of this year. Production has now pushed it back to early next year.

Fans should expect to see the rest of the breakthrough ensemble cast, including Barbie Ferreira as Kat Hernandez; Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs; Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard; Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez; Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard; and Storm Reid as Gia Bennett, return for season 2.

There is currently not a trailer for the sophomore season. But Zendaya has confirmed season 2 is written and finished!
