6-Year Old With Rare Disease Shows Off Her Moves In Zumba Routine

A 6-year-old by the name of Audrey Nethery who has Diamond-Blackfan anemia, a rare bone marrow disorder, is showing the world nothing can stop her from showing off her impressive dance moves. In a Zumba conference in Orlando, Florida, Audrey inspired the crowd with moves most people 5 times her age would find difficult.

Audrey’s dance routine broke the internet as more than 4 million viewers on YouTube got a chance to see what she’s working with. In an interview with Yahoo Parenting Audrey’s father, Scott Nethery, revealed that the 6-year-old loves the activity and goes to Zumba class every Saturday.

“It has helped boost her confidence a bit,” Nethery told Yahoo Parenting in an interview. “Audrey is smaller then other kids her age due to having Diamond-Blackfan anemia, and that bothers her sometimes. However, her size doesn’t matter when she is dancing and she knows she is pretty good at it!”
