Uber has risen to the top as one of the most popular rideshare and car companies over this last year. Thanks to their loyal customer base, they’re now using their popularity to give back to the community this holiday season.
Uber has partnered with No Kid Hungry for their first national giving campaign to help eliminate child hunger in America. Using the hashtag #3MillionMeals, Uber will use social media to spread awareness and raise funds to provide 3 million meals to children in need.
Riders will be able to donate funds by using their app when requesting rides. No Kid Hungry is proud to announce that with every ride taken, they are able to provide up to 50 meals to kids.
Throughout the week, Uber will be hosting pop-ups with various restaurants featuring celebrity chefs and other unique ways to donate to the cause. Be sure to follow Uber on their blog for opportunities to give in your area.
