A few weeks ago a few pics made their rounds on the internet of some of your favorite rappers and their brand of remixed cereals. A few of these included Rice Rickies (Rice Crispies/Rick Ross), Luda Crisps (Cookie Crisps/Ludacris) and 2 Grainz (Great Grains/2 Chainz).
In what seemed like great inspiration or funny coincidence, the ever business savvy St. Lunatic, Nelly, has partnered with Honey Nut Cheerios and their mascot Buzz the honey bee for a cute and funny remix to Nelly’s hit Must Be The Money, not titled Must Be The Honey!
“We hope the Nelly/Buzz remix brings a smile to people’s faces,” said Scott Lee, associate director of Honey Nut Cheerios. “That’s what Honey Nut Cheerios is all about – making an everyday moment a reason to smile.”
The collaboration is part of a larger ad campaign for the brand, which includes five 30-second ad spots directed by acclaimed director Hype Williams, doubling as mini music videos. The campaign is also being supported by billboard, radio and digital ads, as well as public relations and social media efforts. Check out the vid below!
