Tiffany Haddish is adding another project to her Hollywood resume. The comedy actress will executive produce a comedy series in development with HBO as reported by Variety.
Unsubscribed will take a look at blackness and womanhood, including beauty and identity surround a behind-the-scenes look at the Instagram lifestyle.
Xosha Roquemore and Danielle Henderson are the writers and also co-producers for this endeavor. Roquemore who has previously starred as Tamra Webb on The Mindy Project steps behind the scenes on this one for her first writing credit. Henderson has written on various projects including HBO’s Divorce and Hulu’s Difficult People.
The new series comes as the first project Haddish will produce under her first-look deal with HBO since the comedian signed a 2-year deal at the beginning of 2018.
Tiffany Haddish currently stars on TBS comedy series The Last OG and voices a lead character in Netflix’s upcoming series Tuca & Bertie.
