Three Refreshing Smoothie Recipes You’ll Love This Spring

With spring in full swing and temperatures on the rise, it’s now the perfect time to try those cool and refreshing drink recipes you’ve got saved to your Pinterest board!

In an effort to ensure that my body is receiving the vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants needed to function properly throughout the day, I’ve been using fruit and vegetable smoothies as a way to pack several health benefits into one glass. Now, I’m no health expert, but I can assure you that incorporating these delicious beverages to your diet will definitely strengthen your immune system, promote weight loss, and give you that clear, radiant, and dewy skin you’ve always wanted.

Below are a few of my favorite smoothie recipes that I wanted to share with you, so get your blenders ready!

Going Green Smoothie

1/2 cup of water (some use coconut water OR almond milk instead)
1 cup of green grapes
1/2 cup of pineapple
1/2 banana (peeled)
2 cups of spinach
1/2 cup of ice

* Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.

Tropical Mixed Fruit Smoothie

* I did purchase this particular combination of frozen fruit from Sam’s Club, which comes in a package of 6-1 lb. bags, so specific measurements are not available. Smaller bag also available at Walmart.

Pineapple chunks
Sliced strawberries
Peach slices
Mango chunks
Orange juice (some use almond milk instead)
* Spinach (optional)

* Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.

Raspberry Smoothie

1 1/2 cups of apple juice (some use almond milk)
1 banana
1 1/2 cups of frozen raspberries
3/4 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon of honey

* Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
