The ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’, which aired for 25 years with over 4,500 episodes, is now back and better than ever! The show will now be a podcast, but will continue to connect, be seen and let others know they are not alone!
Winfrey’s network OWN announced that the show will be turned into a serialized podcast, and it is now here. Every Tuesday you can check in and listen!
“As we head into a new decade, it’s a great time for fans of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ to revisit the joy, laughter and inspiration that kept us all tuning in daily for 25 years,” Tina Perry, OWN President told People.
Although the podcast will feature segments ranging September 1986 to May 2011, it will not be in chronological order. The first round of shows feature Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and more. Additionally, the episodes will tackle issues such as drugs, weight loss, race relations, and divorce.
Nothing has changed from when it last aired. The show will continue to speak on real issues going on around the world, it will continue to speak on issues many others can relate to, and may be going through. This podcast is here to help everyone become the best versions of themselves, which that has always been its motive from the start.
