The ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,” which aired for 25 years with over 4,500 episodes will be released as a a podcast next month.
Winfrey’s network OWN announced that the show will be turned into a serialized podcast that begins with ten of the most watched episodes. Following the first 10 installments, audible episodes will launch weekly on March 3rd.
“As we head into a new decade, it’s a great time for fans of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ to revisit the joy, laughter and inspiration that kept us all tuning in daily for 25 years,” Tina Perry, OWN President told People.
Although the podcast will feature segments ranging September 1986 to May 2011, it will not be in chronological order. The first round of shows feature Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Suze Orman and more. Additionally, the episodes will tackle issues such as drugs, weight loss, race relations, and divorce.
Fans can subscribe now to “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” which will be available to stream on Apple podcasts and more platforms starting next month.
