Yesterday (May 12) rapper The Game spent the day in Ferguson, M.O. where he visited the memorial of Michael Brown and interacted with children in the community. Michael Brown, an unarmed black 17-year-old boy, was shot and killed in 2014 by a police officer who would later walk free. His death sparked outrage across the nation regarding the importance (or lack there of) officials place on black lives.
The Game even spent some time with Michael Brown’s grandmother and took to his Instagram to share his entire experience.
Wrapping up his day trip, the rapper stopped by a local McDonald’s and purchased 100 Happy Meals for local children. From the countless social media posts, looks like he had an amazing trip and we’re sure the citizens of Ferguson would agree.
Check out some reactions and photos from the day below. Also, head over to The Game’s offical Instagram page for more.
