Lavar Ball, the man behind the Big Baller Brand and filling up AAU basketball games is taking his talents to a reality series. Ball plus his three sons and his wife Tina star in a docu-series “Ball In The Family,” which premiers August 31st on Facebook.
The Ball family is no stranger to the spotlight. We all know Lonzo Ball at this point – the rookie star for the Los Angeles Lakers, who’s father thinks he’s the greatest of all time. Then we have Lonzo’s two brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, who are also basketball stars of their own (LiAngelo’s playing at UCLA next year, and LaMelo will likely follow upon high school graduation).
Lavar Ball himself is the “headline guru” thanks to his highly publicized Big Baller Brand clothing line, his aggressive coaching techniques, and of course his various controversies ranging from “Stay in yo lane” to pulling his AAU team off the court before the game ends because he didn’t like one of the referees.
The docu-series titled “Ball In The Family” gives an inside look at what it takes to live life as a big baller. The trailer shows a glimpse of what to expect from the 10 episode series including intimate family moments and of course lots of Big Baller Brand merchandise.
“You think you know me, you think you know my family, you have no idea,” Lavar boasts in the preview.
The reality show will be one of Facebook’s first original content series and is set to debut on Facebook Watch every Sunday beginning September 10th 2017.
