Siza Mzimela Becomes First Black Woman To Own An Airline

Talk about a major achievement. South African businesswoman Siza Mzimela has just made history becoming the first black woman to own her own airline!

Siza is the new founder and CEO of Fly Blue Crane, which took its first flight in Johannesburg from OR Tambo International Airport on September 1st of this year. To add to the achievement, Mzimela has also become the first woman appointed tot he International Air Transport Association’s Board of Directors.

She is also the founder and Executive Chairperson of Blue Crane Aviation, an aviation services company that provides airlines and related businesses with things such as consulting, legal services with aviation, aircraft management services and much more.
