Sex Trade In Africa

I got directed to a Facebook post about child sex slaves in Africa and I immediately became upset. The impoverished youth are being taken advantage of by opportunist and those who should help them.

It is a fact that in most poor countries prostitution is one of the highest grossing industries but its a difference between adult and a child. Adults can choose to ruin their lives however they need to but a child? An innocent child who’s family is probably selling them off so that they can live better shouldn’t be brought into this world.

Bigger grievance I have is the fact that most of those who visit these “hot spots” are citizens of the United States. Doctors,Lawyers and in some cases politicians. That fly out to these counties and take advantage of these young children. I’m pretty sure that you can find someone your age that can pleasure you.

Just think that this can be your little niece,cousin or sister being sold into a lifestyle that will surely haunt them forever. Because the mental damage is just as damaging to those involved. They’ll forever have to deal with the mental scars of multiple men that have raped them and took advantage of their innocence.

At some point another country should step in and help save these children from this lord knows how much damage has already been done but a invention now can maybe help some of these lives. Not just from the mental scarring but as well as the risk of HIV/AIDS. We all know Africa has the highest HIV rate but with the addition of child prostitution it takes it to a different level.

Do you think congress should step in and work to help end this or should they get a better grasp of what are people’s intents and purposes in these countries
