A huge congratulations is in order for the legendary Serena Williams with her latest Grand Slam victory.
The tennis champion faced off with Johanna Larsson in the single match. Her 6-2 win against the Swedish athlete made her a leader within women ahead of Martina Navratilova and tied up with Roger Federer. Now, she’s ready for her next round against Yaroslava Shvedova with or without a shoulder injury from Wimbeldon.
Serena admitted about her competitor:
“It was a really good match for me, because she played a different kind of game,” Williams said. “It was really good for me to have a different type of rhythm and just move the ball around. So overall it was pretty good.”
How humble is she? Good luck, Serena!
