At only 12-years-old Quvenzhané Wallis is already nominated for an Academy and Oscar Award, and now she’s ready to add author to her title.
The Simon & Schuster publishing company has Quvenzhané on their radar to create her own series of children books. The actress is scheduled to start working in 2017 on one illustration book and another that caters to ages six and up.
The new generation’s orphan Annie, explained the importance of reading and using your “imagination.” She said in a press release,
“It allows people to form a visual experience in their minds of what is going on in the story.”
The kiddies will get to enjoy the story of a young girl who is attending an award show with her mom. Meanwhile, the more experienced readers will live in the world of a fresh-faced actress named Shai Williams, as she follows her dreams of success.
Congratulations, Quvenzhané! Make sure to look out for her untitled project sometime in 2018.
