By Posted on 0 1 m read

12-year-old, Mikaila Ulmer is known for her flourishing lemonade business. Her lemonade sweetened with honey is a family recipe from the 1940’s that was given to her by her great-grandmother. The lemonade was so popular that she got deals to sell in several stores, Whole Foods is one of them.

Mikaila’s lemonade business is now taking itself to a whole different level. NFL players have invested $810,000 in Mikaila’s lemonade, players include Arian Foster, Glover QuinDuane Brown, Jonathan Grimes, Omar BoldenBobby WagnerDarius Slay, Sharrick McManis, EJ Manuel and Malik Jackson.

“Of course, any time you invest in anything you look at if it’s going to be profitable. We look for companies that match our main focus of developing a good product, but are also good people and do it for the right reasons. It’s more than about money to us. We believe that investing in small black businesses is extremely important.” – Arian Foster via the Houston Chronicle

Congrats Mikaila and great work to all of the players involved!
