Misty Copeland has been a total inspiration this year and she doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. The ballerina is set to release a dance drama with Tracy Oliver for Fox through 20th Century Fox TV.
According to Deadline the drama will explore aspiring dancers as they compete for spots in a top dance company. The collaboration between Oliver and Copeland was very seamless considering their individual experiences in the field of arts and drama.
Deadline shared that Oliver, “…had been interested in developing something in the performing arts space. She immediately knew she wanted to collaborate with Copeland in some way and, thought it was clearly a long shot, she cold-called and pitched herself and the idea of doing a TV project together to Copeland and her manager Gilda Squire.”
According the the list of accolades from both women, the untitled series will be a hit.
