Since the foundation started in 2014, what has been the most fulfilling moment thus far?
Meagan Good: I would have to say having the girls really tell their stories, and being able to connect with one another. Having the girls trust us with their experiences, and allowing ourselves as Meagan and La’Miya to open up about things that we don’t normally talk about with public.
“The Greater Good Foundation” is without a doubt uplifting and empowering to so many young girls right now, but if there were one piece of advice you would tell your younger self, what would it be?
Meagan Good: One thing I would tell my younger self would be ‘girl, it ain’t that serious.’ Growing up, we all stress about something that in most situations, we break our heads about that [something] and when you look back at it, we realize that it was nothing major.
I would also remind younger self that ‘I may not be perfect but God made me perfectly imperfection. I am his creation, and he loves me just the way I am.’
