Man Plants Mile-Long Lanes of Flowers to Late Wife

By Posted on 367 1 m read

There are people who will do anything for love and Don Jaquish of Wisconsin proved that after planting entire lanes of sunflowers in honor of his late wife.

Babbette Jacquish passed of cancer last year leaving her husband devastated. However through his mourning, he found light by planting 4 and half miles of sunflowers alongside Highway 85. The “sunflower strip” was inspired by Babbette when she wanted to sell sunflower seeds to help fund cancer research. Unfortunately the inspiring entrepreneur passed before she could watch her idea thrive.

Don made sure to make it his responsibility to continue her efforts by selling the sunflower bags with Babbette’s picture and story on the back called Babbette’s Seeds of Hope. He gushed about how bright her smile and personality was and knew the vibrant sunflowers were the perfect way to memorialize her.

Just thought I'd share this picture I took the other day while I was out for my morning bike ride. I couldn't help but smile look at it.

These days of austerity along with relative panic about incurring debt, lots of people balk about the idea of making use of a credit card in order to make acquisition of merchandise as well as pay for any gift giving occasion, preferring, instead only to rely on the particular tried along with trusted way of making repayment – cash. However, if you’ve got the cash on hand to make the purchase entirely, then, paradoxically, this is the best time for them to use the cards for several good reasons.

It’s my belief that mesothelioma will be the most lethal cancer. It contains unusual features. The more I really look at it a lot more I am assured it does not react like a true solid flesh cancer. If perhaps mesothelioma is really a rogue viral infection, so there is the prospects for developing a vaccine plus offering vaccination for asbestos subjected people who are open to high risk with developing foreseeable future asbestos connected malignancies. Thanks for discussing your ideas for this important health issue.
