Planting Your Seed

The most intelligent thing anyone told me was to learn to fall before I learn to run. In life, everybody can run. Some go faster then others, but few know how to fall. People can’t reach their maximum potential when they are scared to fall. The same stands true in business, you can’t succeed it you are scared to fail. The misconception of our generation is that failure is not an option. Well, failure is an option! It is deciding not to recover from failure that isn’t an option! Too many people try something once and give up. In a society when instant gratification is an expected norm, few will rise above the masses. Few have the vision to think ahead. Few have the drive to recover from failure. Most of us have an idol or mentor in life. In general, we admire their success. I can guarantee you if you took the time to ask, they would gladly explain their previous failures. The only way to learn is by trial and error. The only way to know what its like to succeed, is to know what its like to fail. My personal drive came from failure. The greatest asset I have is the ability to recover. How could you honestly say you gave it your all if you were scared to fail. The only thing holding you back in life is yourself. Boundaries are set from the inside, hurdles are created from the outside. Hurdles can be jumped at any time, fear holds you back form jumping. Whatever you may have done, or are doing in life, don’t be afraid to fail! Life goes on, and so will you! We are free to choose many paths in life. Just because we may discover a dead end, doesn’t mean it’s a reason to stop the journey.
