Kevin Hart’s height has nothing to do with how big his heart is. The comedian partnered with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to award $50,000 in scholarship funds to four deserving senior high school students. Handpicked by Hart himself, each student will be recognized for their commitment to their academic course work as they continue on to pursue higher educational opportunities.
“This is me stepping up to the plate and saying what you’re doing is dope,” Kevin explained. “You’re dope. You’ve got the opportunity to be the dopest of all dopetivity. My money went to a much much more useful cause I guess you would say than what I would have been doing with it at a strip club.”
The students will be recognized at an “An Evening of Stars” on BET which will air on April 26.
