Writer and actress Natasha Rothwell will soon be able to add yet another impressive gig to her resume as the ‘Insecure’ star is set to begin writing a feature film for Paramount Pictures.
‘Bridal Recall’, which is a re-imagining of ‘Identity Crisis’, originally written by Chum Langhorne and Brent Askari, tells the story of a woman who wakes up with amnesia, only to discover it’s her wedding day. She has until the end of the day to figure out who she is, who she’s marrying, and whether or not she’s about to make the biggest mistake of her life.
“I mean, this is nuts!,” Natasha says of her latest project. “I am overjoyed, overwhelmed, and over the moon to have this opportunity and will do my best not to mess it up.”
Natasha has a development deal with HBO where she is writing, producing and starring in her own project. Her other writing credits include “Saturday Night Live,” and “Netflix Presents: The Characters.”
