Everlast Ad Proves There’s No Such Thing As a “Girl Boxer” (VIDEO)

Everlast wants to eliminate the idea that there is a difference between “boxers” and “girl boxers.” The iconic boxing brand believes that the title difference indicates that girls aren’t capable of excelling in the sport like their male counterparts – which is far from the truth.

In their new ad, a young girl is shown training and preparing in a boxing ring but her dreams are so much more than winning the match.

“I imagine a world where it doens’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl, what matters is how well you play. So don’t call me a female boxer. I’m a boxer.”
