Teen Vogue recruited a new Editor-in-Chief and her name is Elaine Welteroth.
Elaine has worked for the renown Conde Nast publication since October 2012 as their Beauty and Health Director. The title upgrade not only came about making her the youngest in-charge in the history of Conde Nast, but she’s also the second African American to rock the crown.
With an impressive resume compiled of Senior Beauty Editor experience at Glamour and Beauty and Style Editor with Ebony, Elaine seems more than ready to take on the coveted position. Not to mention, she’s got backup from Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour in a recent press release. Anna complimented the California native and fellow colleagues Marie Suter and Phillip Picardi saying they are:
“Inspiring young trendsetters with their sophisticated take on emerging fashion, beauty and pop culture, and they will lead Teen Vogue to the next phase of its success.”
So proud of you, Elaine! Keep exuding that #BlackGirlMagic!
