Bruno Mars decides to take his philanthropy to the next level. His Grammy Camp scholarship, supported by the Bruno Mars Scholarship Fund, will now accept applications from high school students all across the country.
Since 2014, Bruno Mars has dedicated financial support for a student to attend the Grammy Museum’s Grammy Camp each year to honor his late mother. The artist behind hits such as “Uptown Funk” and “24K Magic” singer previously offered the opportunity for students from his native state Hawaii.
This year, he opens up the playing field.
Students nationwide are now eligible for Mars’ “Grammy Camp” scholarship where he will fund tuition, housing and transportation. One student for the next five years will be able to attend the camp in Nashville or Los Angeles among other locations and gain firsthand lessons about the music industry from professionals.
“It’s a privilege for me to be able to help students reach their musical dreams. I’m grateful to GRAMMY Camp for making this possible,” says Mars
