Remember when Beyonce went on a 22-day vegan diet back in 2013? She and her hustler husband adopted the lifestyle in an effort to include more plant-based food into their diets and it obviously went pretty well.
Now, the Queen Bey is spreading her healthy good habits to the masses alongside her trainer, Marc Borges. Launching 22 Days Nutrition, the two are here to inspire folks to include more green on their plate.
“We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness,” Borges explains. “The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods.”
Ranging from an affordable $9.76 to $16.50 per meal, all of the meals are made with organic ingredients, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and are delivered once a week.
Although the lifestyle can seem a little intimidating, Mrs. Knowles-Carter assured is happy she undertook the challenge despite not sticking with it all the way through.
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” she said. “He is the most energetic person I know and it’s all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can.”
