Comedian and actress Amanda Seals has been a continuous guest co-host throughout 2019 and reports say in 2020, she will officially become the 5th co-host of the daytime talk show. The 5th seat has been empty for three seasons since artist Tamar Braxton’s departure. The show now consists of co-hosts Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
According to sources, the ladies are looking forward to this new change and think Seals will add a lot of substance to conversations which has been evident in the positive engagement from viewers when Seals took set to host with the cast. Show producers are reportedly excited to bring Seales on to diversify the points of view expressed on the show, with the source adding, “Everyone is really excited about her coming on!”
Amanda Seales’ most recent TV credits include HBO’s Insecure, where she plays the role of Tiffany DuBois. Also in 2016, Seales began hosting her own show on truTV called Greatest Ever. She is a co-host on Bring the Funny alongside judges Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen, and Jeff Foxworthy.
The syndicated series began 2013 and is Fox Television Stations renewed the show for the seventh and eighth
seasons with Warner Bros. Television Distribution. In 2018 the show was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. Currently the show is on a holiday break and will return with new episodes in the new year.
