Meet 9-year-old Ewan Baker Drum, who likes to think about others every morning when he wakes up.
According to TODAY, twice a month, you can find the young boy and his family helping feed and clothe the homeless in Detroit.
The New Haven, Michigan third grader says, “It makes me feel really happy. I saw a bunch of people in Detroit and I wanted to go out and help them. I felt sorry for them.”
His mom, Angela Drum, told the news outlet that they help anywhere between 80 to 125 people each month. As for coming up with the awesome idea, she says the young boys always seemed to have a “special sensitivity” toward the homeless.
However, that’s not all, in July of last year, they started the nonprofit called “Super Ewan.”
