Cherinita Reese got a call on last Friday morning about her 8-year-old daughter Nia Mya appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show (March 17th) after Nia appeared on CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley on last Thursday night (March 16th).
Sounds like a dream right?
Nia Mya is on Amazon’s Best Seller list and has the No.7 best-selling book under the Parenting and Relationships section for her book, How to Deal With and Care for Your Annoying Little Brother. She is also listed among Amazon’s Movers and Shakers.
Everyone has had a case of an ‘annoying’ sibling, we all have to figure out how to love, care, and deal with our family because honestly they are stuck with us forever! Blood is thicker than water and it is important to have great relationships with your family members, and even mend broken ones if that is the case. Nia Mya is helping young children around the world learn how to fully love and care for their family members, regardless of their circumstances or ‘annoying’ habits.
It all started last year when Nia Mya’s first-grade teacher, Beth Hanks asked her class to write about something they were “experts” on. Nia decided to write about her annoying little brother, 5-year-old Ronald Michael. Nia kept everything within the family having illustrations inspired by her cousin, Faith Martin who is an 11th grader at Minor High School.
Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato congratulated Nia Mya on her national news appearance, check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/HooverMayor/posts/1613053352053080
