5-Year Old Boy Uses Birthday Gifts To Help Animals In Need

By Posted on 54 1 m read

Five year old Dalton Shaw recently had a birthday, and like most 5-year olds, you’d expect him to want as many presents as possible. But Dalton is different than most kids, and more selfless then you can imagine.

For his birthday party, Dalton asked friends and family to bring supplies for animals in need, instead of a birthday gift. Upon request, everyone who attended flooded the overjoyed boy with tons of animal food, toys, treats and more. “He just has such a big heart,” Dalton’s mother Stephanie Shaw said. “He was so excited.”

Shaw tells the Huffington Post that the family gives back to animal shelters as often as they can, and even have two rescue dogs and two rescue cats of their own. In addition to all of the gifts, Dalton also received roughly $255.00 in cash donations too. The family was beyond ecstatic.

We can all learn a lesson from Dalton and the Shaw family, that giving back is important. Read the full story here.

A lot of of what you say is supprisingly appropriate and that makes me ponder why I had not looked at this with this light previously. This article really did turn the light on for me personally as far as this subject goes. Nonetheless there is actually one factor I am not too comfortable with and whilst I try to reconcile that with the actual core idea of your issue, let me observe just what all the rest of the subscribers have to point out.Very well done.
